Shipping Policy
DELIVERY WITHIN SRI LANKA
We offer free island-wide delivery for clients residing in Sri Lanka.
If you place an order for an item available in stock before 8:00am on a regular business day (Monday through Friday), we can arrange for the item to be delivered within the day.
If you place your order for an item available in stock after 8:00am on a regular business day (Monday through Friday) and opt for delivery within Colombo 1-15, your order will be delivered within 24 hours. Please note, any order placed after 8:00am on Friday will be delivered on Monday.
If you place an order on a holiday, Saturday or Sunday, your order will begin processing the following business day.
To ensure your order will be ready for your special occasion, we recommend placing your orders well in advance, allowing enough time for potential payment reviews, carrier holds, or other unexpected circumstances which may cause delay.
Delivery is always subject to receiving your full payment.
Once the order is ready for delivery, the delivery agent will call and make a prior appointment before the delivery. The delivery agent will hand over the sealed package only to the recipient mentioned in the client details form after an ID check for verification purposes and require a handwritten or electronic signature by the client to confirm the delivery of each product.
Products ordered will be delivered to the client in a sealed package. The client must check if the seal is intact. If it is broken, the client must not accept the package and the package must be returned to the delivery agent immediately.
Domestic Collections
During checkout, kindly select your preferred method of receiving your finished jewellery item(s) from either delivery or store pick-up.
If you choose to proceed with the store pick-up option, we will inform of the order being ready for collection and you may collect the order upon being informed so from our office at 94/3, Dharmapala Mawatha, Colombo 07 during our office hours (10:00am – 6:00pm Thursday through Monday). https://maps.app.goo.gl/Furkg3mcZEMFkQNQ6?g_st=ic
International Shipping
We offer free worldwide shipping.
Shipments can be made to a physical business or home address only. We do not ship to P.O. box addresses or hotels.
All client details, including shipping addresses, must match the authorisation information of the credit card used. If you would like your shipment sent to a non-confirmed address, you can arrange to add an “alternative confirmed address” with your credit card company.
International shipments may be subject to customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other destination charges. These additional charges required for customs clearance are to be paid by the recipient. Please check with your local customs office for information.
Because we make most items to order, time from order to delivery will vary depending on the item ordered. All orders are insured and shipped via FedEx Priority service and are scheduled to arrive on or before the expected delivery date shown in the order confirmation. Some orders may arrive earlier than the expected delivery date if they are ready. You will receive an email confirmation once your order ships.
DINIDU is committed to timely delivery of your order. However, delivery delays due to inclement weather conditions, carrier delays or incorrect addresses are beyond our control. An alternative shipping method may be used when deemed appropriate to reach your target destination and target delivery date.
Please note that business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Delivery may take longer if you have requested personalised engraving or customised adjustment.

If you have provided an email address for your purchase, status updates regarding your order will be sent to your email. If you have not received these emails, please note that order confirmation emails may be caught in a spam or deleted folder; these emails usually do not appear in general email searches and may only appear when specifically searching your spam or deleted emails folders. We recommend searching these additional email sections with your order number to see if your emails may be in these folders.
To make your DINIDU purchasing experience as stress-free as possible, we also offer FREE RETURN SHIPPING on standard international ready-made orders. Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
The item will be delivered to an individual present at the address. Signature by recipient is required for all deliveries. We urge all customers to inspect your package for damage or tampering before receiving or signing for receipt. On the rare occasion that your order is tampered with or lost during shipment, you must report this to DINIDU Customer Care within 7 days of receiving your tracking number. Customers are responsible for all items after the package has been signed for.
For insurance reasons we cannot reroute packages after we have shipped from DINIDU.
If you prefer to have your order shipped to our boutique in Colombo rather than your home, select “Boutique Pick Up” as the delivery option.
