What’s Included
- Stone Replacement: Round-cut gemstones under 3mm will be replaced free of charge while fancy-cut or other complex shaped stones may require additional time due to importation.
- Complimentary Clean & Inspection: Detailed jewellery inspection for defects and professional cleaning and polishing using industry-grade techniques.
- Repeated Coverage: The lifetime manufacturing warranty coverage can be used multiple times for the same defect in your jewellery item.
What’s Not Covered
- Loss or displacement of the centre stone.
- Repairs or work performed by third parties.
- Routine plating maintenance, which may be subject to additional charges.

Service Process
- Book an appointment: Schedule a meeting with our team via a call or WhatsApp message and visit us at our boutique in Colombo 07 with your jewellery and its certifications.
- Inspection & intake: Our team will assess the condition of the piece, check for defects and will provide an estimated timeline for delivery. For covered manufacturing defects, repairs will be completed at no charge. If an issue is not covered, we will provide a separate quote for any requested repairs or enhancements.
- Notification: Our team will contact you via a call or WhatsApp message once your jewellery is ready for collection.
- Collection: Collect your item in-store. Jewellery may be collected by the owner or an authorised third party with prior notice. The customer is required to share a contact number and a copy of the NIC/ passport in advance to arranging collection by a third party. Items can be collected without an invoice by sending a confirmation message via WhatsApp from the registered contact number.
Important Guidelines
- Overseas Repairs: Overseas customers must arrange shipping to our boutique for jewellery repairs. DINIDU does not provide international shipping and delivery for warranty services.
- Certification Required: Jewellery certification must be presented at the drop-off. The purchase receipt is not required.
- In-Store Drop-off: Jewellery must be personally brought to the boutique. Courier services are not accepted.
- Scope of Service: Complimentary repairs apply for defects under the warranty coverage only. Any additional restorations, enhancements or routine plating will be quoted separately.
FAQ
Can I get my lost stones replaced for free?
Round-cut gemstones under 3mm are replaced free of charge. Fancy-cut or other shaped stones may require additional time due to importation. Loss of centre stones will not be covered under the warranty.
Will cleaning affect my warranty?
No. We recommend a regular professional clean and inspection at DINIDU to keep your warranty active.
Do I need to bring the purchase receipt to use the warranty?
To ensure the applicability of the manufacturing warranty, your jewellery certification must be provided at the time of jewellery drop-off. Purchase receipt is not required.

Can I use the warranty more than once for the same defect?
Yes, you can. Our manufacturing warranty ensures repeated coverage for the same defects over the lifetime of your jewellery pieces.
